There are not nearly enough pictures of Hiro-chan on my blog. She is such a good friend, wife, and mom (to Toshi). She is Japanese and very sweet. Here is a collage of pictures. Poor Hiroko, as soon as she lays down, Toshi jumps on her and wants her attention.
I am so excited. We are going back to Japan for 3 1/2 weeks soon. Hiroko misses the green and her family misses Toshi. They miss each other too! I just want to get away for a bit.

Traveling to Japan sounds like a lot fun. I imagine they’ll be starting winter then? A few years ago when my aunt and my cousins came from Australia, the arrived right around the first days of summer. I don’t know if they caught “something” in the plane or if their bodies reacted to the sudden weather change, but they got sick with the flu as soon as they landed. The worst part was when they begun spreading the nasty virus causing a lot of people to get sick with it too (me included). Tell you what, being sick in summer with the flu in not fun. You just can't tell where those high temperatures are really coming from. Hehehe
